No More Ziti

It's done now. Over.

I thought it was a fabulous ending. Some people didn't. What are ya gonna do?

David Chase did an amazing job. It was vintage Sopranos. A gritty portrayal of lives to the last second of the show. Brilliant, intelligent writing, as always. The buzz of all water cooler talk this morning.

Brilliant, on so may levels.

I'm itching to know what happens but don't want to spoil the enjoyment of watching when it eventually comes here. Glad it lived up to expectations though - nothing worse than a great show going out with a whimper or with an unrealistically happy ending.

Well I didn't say THAT....

No spoiler here...Let's just say it was unexpected, yet one could also expect it. It was vintage David Chase, who typically doesn't pander to the audience....and it was brilliant. The symbolism of some of the details was fabulous.

Don't plunk around too much on the web if you don't want to hear what happened. The chatter about it is everywhere....

I know - my OH has already gleaned some information about it from reading various websites and he's under orders to not to tell whatever it is he knows. I don't know he had done this - its like peeking at your Christmas presents and then being disappointed when there aren't any surprises on Christmas Day!

For people who love the cerebral, intelligent side of the show that makes you think, it was genius.

For people who are just in it for the violence, crudeness and gore, they may not be so completely satisfied.

I've rewatched it now, and it gets better. You catch new things every time. The dialogue as always, is terrific, and everything means something that is not always so obvious.
