Trying to Kick the Habit

No, not smoking.

Every day in London, around 5pm, we sat down and had tea (or cappucino) and scones. Now every day in Florida, around 5pm, we crank up the cappucinos (and try to substitute something for scones because we just can't make them here like they do there.)

This is a bad, bad habit. Eating plan being totally dessimated. Must figure out a way to kick this habit. Fast. :)

I don't think I've ever ate a scone in London - south west England (Cornwall & Devon) is the home of them and I certainly indulged when we were on holiday down there last year.

As addictions go, it isn't so bad. I can't imagine you robbing people to feed your habit.

I don't know. My husband might. He's after me to find a way to make them. I am told by a friend that we just can't do it here -- they are never as good -- something with the flour or water. But if you have an authentic recipe for them, please pass it on. I'll give it a go and see what happens.

I'll ask my mum for our family one and post it as a comment tomorrow x

How nice! It doesn't get much more authentic than that. Thanks, Miss F!!
